Tartu, the second largest city in Estonia, is the biggest centre in South Estonia and lies at the junction of the main national roads. The distance from Tartu to Tallinn is 186 km and the bus ride from the Tallinn Lennart Meri International Airport or Tallinn Harbour takes around 2.5 hours. Riga International Airport is 260 km from Tartu and the bus ride is around 5 hours.

Tartu Airport is only 11 km from the city centre, and there are regularly scheduled flights from Helsinki. The comfortable Finnair operated flights take 50 minutes, and tickets can be purchased from the Finnair website. There is no ticket sales point at Tartu Airport! The flight schedule can be viewed on the Finnair and Tartu Airport websites.

Return transfers from the Tallinn Airport, Tallinn Harbour or Riga Airport, as well as local shuttle bus transportation between the official hotels and the University of Tartu Sports Hall, are included in Package prices.
